Owner/Designer
Twyla Stephens
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Twyla's love for design wasn't learned in a classroom—it was inherited on job sites. As the daughter of a contractor, she spent her childhood shadowing her father, developing a keen eye for quality craftsmanship and the "bones" of a home.
Since entering the design industry in 2012, Twyla has turned that lifelong curiosity into a career. With a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Seattle, she blends technical expertise with a deeply rooted PNW sensibility.
As the owner of Simply Spaces, Twyla is driven by a simple philosophy: "Design is the bridge between how a room works and how it feels." Her mission is to ensure that your home doesn't just look beautiful, but works beautifully for your life.
Founder/Designer
Sally Dickinson
Simply Spaces was founded by Sally Dickinson. Originally from St Albans, England, Sally left school with a degree in engineering and went on to pursue earlier careers in the aerospace and retail industries.
After helping several friends remodel and decorate their homes, Sally decided to develop her skills further by taking an interior design course at the Regent Academy in London.
"Having relocated my family many times, I discovered that I had the ability to create a home wherever we were. People started asking me for advice, and it was great to formally supplement my engineering and spatial design skills with knowledge of colour and textiles. It really completed the picture for me."
